Most-asked questions from procurement, IT, and engineering leads — answered.
Ask us anything →01 What does JACS Solutions actually do?
We design, manufacture, and deploy custom IoT devices and connectivity for enterprise and industrial use. We specialize in cellular, Wi-Fi, and Private LTE — building locked-down hardware and firmware that consumer-grade products can't match.
02 How is JACS different from buying off-the-shelf?
Off-the-shelf devices are built for the lowest common denominator. JACS engineers solutions to your exact spec — encrypted firmware, controlled OTA, custom certifications, branded packaging, lifecycle support that lasts the deployment, not the warranty period.
03 Are JACS devices TAA-compliant?
Yes. We offer TAA-compliant manufacturing for federal, public sector, and government customers. Devices are also certifiable across AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, USCC Business, and OnGo (CBRS).
04 What's the minimum order quantity for a custom device?
It depends on customization depth. Pilots typically start at 50–500 units; production volumes run 5,000+. Branding and OS-image-level customization is available at lower volumes.
05 How long does a typical project take?
Most pilots run 8–14 weeks from kickoff to deployed units, depending on customization depth and certification scope. Production rollouts schedule around your network and logistics windows.
Technology that inspires us, technology for all.
